Lonely Nights 03:41 The Tremeloes are a British pop rock band that formed in 1958 in London, England (when the original members were still teenagers) and became a major part of the British pop scene within a few years. The band has had a total of 14 top 20 UK Singles Chart singles, two of which, "Here Comes My Baby" and "Silence is Golden", also had success in the United States. The Tremeloes were (according to Allmusic) "one of the most talented acts on the British pop rock scene of the 1960s, churning out masterfully crafted, memorable hit singles", and enjoyed great success on both sides of the Atlantic from 1966 to 1970, but remained underrated, largely due to their frequent cover-and-plagiarism, but most importantly because they were "late" to the British Invasion. At the same time, The Tremeloes are one of the most enduring British bands of the 1960s, which continues to perform live 40 years after its formation
